Ginger Leigh Westbrook Foley, 54, of Roanoke Rapids passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2015.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Foley; her daughter, Laura Foley of Roanoke Rapids; her son, WO1 Brad Foley, US Army, of Roanoke Rapids; her parents, James and Esther Westbrook of Roanoke Rapids; her brothers, Jimmy Westbrook and his wife, Barbara of Rolesville, Terry Westbrook and his wife, Debra of Fuquay Varina; and a special cousin, Donna Reams of Nashville, NC.

Ginger was a 1978 graduate of Roanoke Rapids High School and she attended East Carolina University. She was a very talented artist, photographer, loved scrapbooking, and had a love for animals. She was a lifelong member of Rosemary United Methodist Church and served as a former youth director there impacting the lives of many. She also made a great impact as the Cheerleading Coach at Halifax Academy.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Rosemary United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Redmond officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 29, 2015 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services.
